The Prince George Yellowhead Rotary Club is holding its 8th Annual "Taste of India — A Celebration of Cuisine, Culture & Community" cultural event, at the Prince George Civic Centre on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

The Taste of India event is such an enormous success that, to date, it has raised over $375,000 for Rotary initiatives locally and internationally. To honour Yellowhead Rotary’s ongoing commitment to children and youth, locally and internationally, this year funds will go toward the following:

•Local projects, including renovations at the Elder Citizens Recreation Association, playground equipment for Big Brothers Big Sisters and a bike skills park for the Blackburn Community Association

•Ongoing International projects in Amreli, India and Mgutwa, Tanzania
