Shooting Stars Theatre Performance Camps

Performance Intensive 1: July 8th to 26th, Ages 9 and up This intensive will focus on performing a condensed Shakespeare play. The actor will be assigned a role on the first or second day of camp and the duration will be spent creating all aspects needed to present a play. *New for this year: Actors will have ten days of rehearsal followed by a dress rehearsal and then four live performances at Theatre NorthWest.

Rehearsal Period: July 8th to 19th, weekdays from 930 to 5pm @ Theatre NorthWest

Dress Rehearsal: July 22nd, 6 pm to 10 pm (approximately) @ Theatre NorthWest

Performances: July 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th 730 pm @ Theatre NorthWest Cost: $405.00

Performance Intensive 2: July 22nd to Aug 2nd, Ages 8 and up This intensive will focus on performing a modern era play (mid 1900s and onwards). The actor will be assigned a role on the first or second Thursday of camp. The duration will be spent creating and working on all aspects needed to present a play. There will be two performances at the end of the two weeks.

Rehearsal Period: July 22nd to Aug 2nd, weekdays, 930 to 5pm @ Theatre NorthWest

Dress Rehearsal: Aug 1st, 6 to 10 pm (approximately) @ Theatre NorthWest

Performances: Aug 2nd @ 2 pm and 730 pm @ Theatre NorthWest Cost: $405.00

There are two ways to register this year to assist with processing different payment options.

1. You can register your child via Theatre NorthWest's webite: tickets.theatrenorthwest.com, you are able to pay with Credit Card and Visa Debit and a registration form will be emailed to you after completing payment

2. You can register your child through Shooting Stars Theatre via email: shootingstarstheatre@gmail.com; this is a great option if paying cash, cheque, or e-transfer. All cheques are to be made out to Melissa Glover.

All registration fees must be received by the first day of camp. Registration forms can be brought in on the first Thursday of camp
